The GPS on the Seal is not connected via a COM port (sometimes called a “serial port”). It’s an integrated part of the Seal, so Windows will recognize the GPS as a separate service. You’ll need to tell your software to look for this GPS service instead of looking for a specific port. If you need help configuring GPS between an application and Windows 10, please speak with your software provider to ensure proper configuration.

If you’re having trouble using instructions you received from your software vendor, you might be able to use a third-party program. There may be some options included in the instructions. Some programs act like legacy COM ports, which might be what your app is looking for.
